I painted this in April, 2017. It was inspired by one of my favourite quotes: "You can be a pessimist and say that roses have thorns, or you can be an optimist and say that thorns have roses." 
 
My original paintings bear the charm of their imperfections, with odd marks and spills adorning the paper, making each one truly special in its unique way.
